I have been coming to this shop for the last 3 years or so and have not been this upset of how I was treated. This guy is a joke of a tattoo artist and a liability to the shop. I want to add that i have several other tattoos and know what they're supposed to look like. My skin is so scarred that it can't stay moisturized for more than a few hours. The outline the artist put on my arm did not match the finished project, his tattoo gun was missing a needle and made double lines.

Update 2: 6 weeks after, over time i just keep getting madder and madder about this tattoo. I can't fairly condemn the whole shop for one bad artist, but yeah.that guy's work sucks. Update: 4 weeks after, tattooed way too deep, the whole area is scarred. Great flash art, but definitely won't return. I wouldnt have even felt so uncomfortable about paying so much if the customer service was not so hostile. The shop was alsol overpriced for what i was asking for, but i was a walk in and not in the mood to negotiate with what was obviously a sexist upsale. This all while he's insulting my other tattoos, bragging about how experienced and a "real tattoo artist" he is, and was incredibly defensive of his work any time i said anything at all. He didnt shave the whole area being worked on, he rarely whiped away excess ink while working, he missed a significantly visible area that was supposed to be filled in and when i pointed it out he seemed embarrassed and went over the spot feverishly til it was bleeding. I dont know if hes really inexperienced or just thought i wouldn't notice little details.
